just a correction its not modulation, but shift 
Modulation is the mode the radio tx's with IE: FM or AM (or SSB or SB, for you Ham radio buffs)

So who ever said Futaba crystals will work in Helios is partially correct, just not on 75 band. Anyone in Europe try with 40 band??

Well 2 racedays on my new helios and man, love that radio. I got my new case today and got the foam fitted. The only sad note, I now know that it really is me who can't drive and my old M8 wasn't broken. Oh well.

TimXLB- Turn around time is about 1-2 days on most repairs. If it is a special order item, then you are looking at about 3 weeks. Did you take the radio apart? If you tried to do your own repairs, the labor rate triples! j/K

Hey ko staff, I have a question, I have a helios, and from day one it had something that would move around inside, is there something i can do to fix that? It seams that others have the same rattle. one of my buds has the same radio, and it has the same rattle.
