Brushes are porous all right, more porous than the oilite
'bronze' bushings used in the cheap RTRs.

If you want oils to soak faster into the brush/bushes, heat them.
Heated oil will soak in much faster -- just get an old tablespoon,
put item & oil in & warm it over a lighter.

You are all wrong... Banana peels!!!!!!!!
Build a small bong, I mean fire out of banana peels and
use a long clip ( the kind that they use for roaches) and gently
roast them until they get a little toasty.... Don't move the clip while you have it... Hold your breath and be very steady.....
While you are putting the brushes in, have a Twinkies or a couple of ring-dings....
You may appear slow but your car will be faster!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is crazy? soak a brush for three months? what!!! there are new brushes and motors all the time and how could you keep up. If there is a race tomarrow and there is a new brush tomarrow what do you do, dont go because you have to wait three months.

YA RIGHT....
