i dont think you would have had it on too long anyway Andrew. maybe Moorebank on a higher grip day. but not Little hampton.

i removed as many screws as possible to get Flex, not taking it out, and it made a world of difference.

Well i guess the car already had the motor mount... everything matches up perfectly.

Never heard that happen at all, are you sure the plastic housing is not stripped where the screws goes into? I would suggest replacing the diff housing and go from there.

Yes, it has happened to me and a number of other racers here.

You must use locktite!

That's odd... I normally have trouble getting mine to come loose. I would try the locktite.

Pass you soon...

NEVER use Loctite on Plastic, loctite contains a chemical that softens plastic!
you can use C A glue if you want but not loctite.
Part # for the diff housing is 804174,

Never use loctite plastic to metal. I does softed plastic. I use a hot glue gun on the screw threads, if in a bind. Purchase a diff housing as Team Kamakazi suggest. Useing CA you definitely purchase a new diff housing after a while. Try putting nail polish on the screw & plastic, if its cracked, its loose.

I think there is some confusion here. The way I am reading it, he is referring to the screws that holds his diff gears (ie, the screw that goes into the outdrive) is coming loose.

I have seen this happen several times, it happened to me causing the diff to seize.

As this is metal to metal, loctitie is the fix.

See photo of what I am talking about...

Yeah it's happen to me once when i first built the car. . The screw backs out and the outdrive binds against the dog bone. Just use a little blue lock tight if you ever want to take it apart again.
