Hey all,

Hows it going? Thinking of having a small incentive plan like in SCCA racing for anyone running a Diamond Northern RC XRay at the Nats and maing the show. Say a cash incentive for making the show and TQ and winning. Nothing too outrageous-pretty small company dont ya know!!

But it will be more fun that way. I am sure I can repeat the deal for other big races (US INdoor Champs, Snow Birds, etc.) as long as the bloodline of the Evo2 stays around for awhile.

I have done further testing on the Xray Conversion with the short arm set-up and cars really good. I even ran it with the ultra flex top deck because the bottom chassis is so stiff. Just to confirm my feelings about the car-I gave it to Mike PUlfer and Ian Ruggles (long time Xray drivers) and they both gave it a thumbs up.

Also-with the pending release of the Factory Team XRay-the single most important change will be the chassis. Theirs is something like 4mm thick milled down to stock roll centers under the bulkheads. Thats overkill in my mind as well as a lot of extra weight that could be placed more specifically. My chassis and top deck will build an unbelievably stiff car-a brick and its 2.6mm thick (very close to stock chassis thickness). So you can place your weight where you want and still make min weights at most races.

Heres the latest pic of the built car!!

Default HOBBYSHOPS!!!

Hey all,

I wanted to let the track and hobbyshop owners know that one of my battery customers has offered a great service that I would like to let you know about. If you buy your cases of GP3300 batteries from Diamond Northern, they will zap and cycle 3x the cells and put a custom label on them for you at a great price e-mail for info .

This saves you the hobbyshop/track owner the expense of buying a custom zapper and Turbo Matchers and having to construct a temperature controlled room and also pay an employee to cycle batteries. All you have to do is match them into 4 and 6 cell packs and sell them. YOu will get fun packs all the way to Team packs so you can hit all your different customers needs.

This can be a great source of revenue for tracks to help keep the doors open!!

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be out of the XRay Super stiff conversions till after the ROAR Nationals this month. I apologize.

There may be a few top decks for sale at the hobbyshop at the Gate though for those attending the Nats, but running the stock chassis. The top deck alone goes a long way to stiffen up the car.

After the Nats I should have a few versions of the car so people have some choices in chassis.

Ray - It's my youngest son's 1st birthday on the 25th, and his party is on the 27th. I didn't think it wise to only run the main, so I'll save my money for Cleveland
