Just wondering since I put on the de skid I raised the ride height to set it under the skid. So now my cg is higher, also a local pro said he seen my rear bouncing from the skid hitting. So what is your take on this?

Are you noticing a difference? if not then its not messing with you

It might be hitting but unless its flipping your car around i think your fine

I would not measure from under the skid, you will be changing the ride height. Find a spot on the side of the skid.

You want the chassis to sit at the right ride height, not the skid.

I run front and rear DE skids on both buggy and truggy, and heve never noticed a thing.

i run the de skid on my 8t 2.0. its 3mm thick. so when i messure from the bottom of the plate i set the gauage 3mm lower then the actual rh. so on my truck the front should b 39mm and the back 42mm. so i set the front and the back the same height messuring from the chassis in the front and from the sd

skids are constantly getting thinner and thinner as you run them...so the 3mm measurement is bogus...and DE skids are Not 3mm thick.
