Of course you can use a starter box with virtually any buggy. As for which one...

I personally like the OFNA "chrome top" box. There are more powerful ones (the dual motor ones) and smaller/lighter ones... but the chrome top is direct drive, has plenty of power, and since it is direct drive there is nothing to maintain (doesn't wear out like belt drives) and it is relatively inexpensive. It IS bigger and heavier than a lot of the others though.

As long as tv chassis is flat like most buggys and I think yours is then just about any starter box will work. The best box on the market today is the ofna truggy box no question. This box will start anything and I mean anything.

+1 or 2 on the onfa truggy starter box
i have both boxs i like the truggy one the best
the chrome top one is ok but it is heavy and imo is
just a little under powered but will do the job if you can
get the truggy one
