Taken from best quals.
We connected to the finals with the family @ LiveRC (Compliments) on the Ps3 hooked up to the plasma it felt like we were right there. Breezy sunny day with scattered clouds and a quiet sense of apprehension in the times seemed to demonstrate that consistency is need to carry you through. Whilst speed is paramount, the track is unforgiving and errors required extraordinary efforts to recover, whilst lap time deviations are remarkable as you near the top 20 the margin of error narrows to what can only be termed "World Class".
No room for errors, the track is challenging, but there's a dense black line around the track, so yummy it looks edible, negotiating the flipper curbs seems to be the key, some drivers make it look easy while others seem to be blinded, they bounce then do stylin power slides, all the while knowing they burnt valuable fuel and now pressured knowing those couple of seconds meant taunting the tight line even more.
*Touch wood*
