my friends and i dont like the stratus. we think its really ugly . its too bad we cant look good and have a good handling body as well. another thing is that with everyone running stratus bodies the field doesnt look diverse at all.

i'll be using a tamiya F40 body for my HPI R40 come spring time. just gotta pick out a good paint scheme for it... or just go with the ol' italian red . it may or may not handle well but at least it'll look good.

a good looking body shell but with not so good handling characteristic will make your car looks bad on the track unless you only display your RC car at the bench. You should go for static model instead if you need good looking body shell.

I saw on another site that the Mazda 6 by Protoform is legal thru ROAR.

But to me it looks just like the Stratus with different grill decals.

Have you seen the losi skoda body? Now there's a Stratus (just with no supplied stickers).

Has anyone tried the different wing adjustments on the Protoform Stratus 2.1, is there much difference in handling?

Small size track, not much different. But on a medium or big track, difference is quite obvious.....

I'm assuming only body wings are roar legal, right. Anyone ever attach the wing to the rear bearing carriers like on high speed oval cars?

Also, is there a body that will help reduce traction roll?

Crash. Only thing that will help you reduce traction roll is car setup.

Installing anti-sway bars, heavier springs, harder tires on the car all help reduce it. Just a matter of experimenting with different setups until you find what works best for your style of driving.

As for bodies. Not really. Some shells like the Protoform Stratus help make the car more stable but none of them will stop traction roll.

Default Frewer Porsche GT1-98 is awesome.

I ran the Frewer Porsche GT1-98 this weekend and it works and looks awesome. I'll post some pics of it in the next few days. Here's the pic from speedtechrc.com.
