Default Alternative battery locations?

Anyone have any alternative locations to put a 6V receiver pack in an Associated Monster GT? I am running the pipe down the left side, and with a JP-4 it (pipe) is very close to the battery compartment.

I want to run a longer pipe, but it would hit the pack, and I can't run it in the stock location. If I did, when it lands from a jump the right-rear tire would smash into the pipe.
