We run both.I have been into nitro for 13 years and I have never seen a engine turn the rpm's my Rossi turns. It makes me want a 5 port now.The top end is simply awesome...Let me add I bought it used for $125.Was that a good deal? But I'm getting another NTC3 and put my brand new Sirio AAC 5 port in it.I want to see how strong it is compared to the Rossi.

That's cool, I was hoping it would be strong on the track, straight line speed doesn't matter too much to me, I usually lock out 2'nd gear anyway.

I have a Rossi Pixi Gold head.

With the standard plug that comes installed, I think you have to use at least 30% to get any kind of top end.

The optional turbo button that it comes with, installed with a p8 plug, the engine really shines.

I only recently found this out. I'm a little new to italian engines.
With 20% Nitro the engine won't ever top out with the standard plug installed and shimmed buttonhead.

The Gold head is the roar legal and the Silverhead is the Outlaw version of the Pixi.

Hi there Guys,

Maybe someone would have seen the two run together, which would you say runs better in the way of top end and power between the ROAR legal Black Pixy and the Novarossi NS12S3A1 motor. numbers on black and white are similar, but only experience show some different pictures.

I've had the ROAR legal version and I believe the NS3 is still faster in straight line speed. The Pixy does win in the twisties by a hair. Best bottom end I've seen.
