Is there any offroad tracks near shelby township MI, besides Larrys Rc, Pheasents run, and Factory tracks. I think I saw a back yard track down on shelby road the other day but im not sure yet. All the other places are to far away.

Theres a new track in Hines Park in Plymouth Mi.

Went to Hines Park track today and the entrances were closed. Parked in front of the blockade and ran my vehicles. Anyone know why it was blocked off? I know they raced there this past Sunday.

Hey i'm from larrys too. I saw you last weekend. I'm the one who won all three stock spec races for the slash. There is a pretty sweet track in heinz park(so i've heard) and also an new upcomming one in oxford(check out electric offroad forum and the thread under backyard track). Anyone have any details on the heinz park track could PM me please I wanna get some more info about this.

Heinz track officially closed! Make the trip out there just to get told by police that a petition was passed to close it and to stay off. Bummer

Anyways hope to see you and your friend(brothers? not really sure) at larrys Tuesday.

I called Wayne County Parks departement and talked to someone there about it. There is an apartment complex over the hill across the tracks. 10 people are complaining about the noise.
I started to ask questions like: Did they make any noise measurements to see if its a valid complaint? Did they try to compromise by setting times that we can run? (besides on race day) Doesn't sound like they didn't do any of that.
He just took my name and number and said he would get his supervisor to call me back to discuss further.

I cant believe the lack of off-road tracks around here. I have both a full size and mini Revo that I wanna actually drive somewhere beside the damn parking lot. I remember awhile back Freedom Hill used to have a BMX track that all the RC guys used to love, but thats been gone for many years. I live near Larry's RC but I want a BIG dirt track. I dont know what to do anymore.

hines park is open for racing but no practice right now. it will be open yearly next year for electics only and practice all the time.

THE TRACK IS OPEN!! BUT DO TO SOME NOISE PROBLEMS WITH PPL RUNNING ALL DAY IT HAD GOT CLOSED. IT IS KNOW REOPENED WITH RUELS ON WHAT TIME YOU CAN RUN THROUGH THE WEEK!!

AND THEY DID A NOISE TEST AND PASSED IT!!! THE NOISE IS UNDER THE LIMIT IN THIS SPOT.
