revelation raceway in ontario/chino area i think would be the closest for nitro off road. www.revrace.com its a pretty fun, very competitive track.
one of the only tracks that i know of that has a true "beginner" class instead of just sportsman expert or pro...this way the beginners are not racing against drivers who are borderline expert.
