which bearings would be the best choice for performance and durability for racing in a losi eight

avid is good, they are dollar bearings and they last a while to. i change mine when i do my diffs. and thats about every gallon to gallon in a half and i dont have failed bearings

The $1 bearings you change often are best for durability.$20 in bearings every 3-4 gallons is a lot less expensive than having a crappy day at the track.Unless you can use 8X16 diff bearings that last 5-6 gal,then its only $8 in wheel bearings & you can do that every 2-3 gal just to be safe.When you can get good bearings for a buck a piece then cleaning & lubing expensive bearings is for the birds.

I use Avid & never had a problem with them lasting longer than I stated above of course I never had a problem when I used the Protek ones either.

The Boca Bearing sets are good. They are running some 10 pack specials now. Just picked some for a Losi 8ight 2.0.
