I can sell you one of mine, I need the other to race lol

It's used but has less than 15 cycles on it.

It lasts about 15-17 minutes in my car

Hope I can explain this .....

Has anyone had issues like this ? Everytime I hit "anything" the front wheel on the impact side pushes past it's maximum throw point. The front wheel then gets stuck at this max throw point. I've tried the following but it still happens enough to cause issues:

* New servo saver thinking the kit saver was the issue
* Aluminum servo arm - managed to burn up a servo, thus back to a saver
* Small posts in the open holes by the front knuckles
* Small washer above steering rack post to take away some slop

My hunch now is the culprit is the slop in the steering rack.

I know, don't hit anything and I'll be fine ..... but I'm running this on a carpet track and as you know, there's no escape

Thanks !

look at your lower arms, and you'll see one small hole, that's there for a steering stop, use one, it helps dude

I used extra shims (about 8mm total) and a 3mm screw here but it still wants to push past (or over ?) this. May need to go with more shims or a "post" that is wider (girth) I suppose. Thanks.

i ordered a bunch of things from rcmart it was only $7 and that was one of them. I had no clue except the fact that it was extra weight/bling i figured i could use a large spacer at one point... i guess knowing is half the battle...

Yo dude,

See if this makes sense,

We call it snaplock when the linkage travels past 180 degrees/straight line.

Need to keep it to less than that.

Make sure the ballstuds are on the rear of the spindle arms, as they move they become more inline with the servo saver ballstuds and then go beyond.

If you can, get the ball studs on the servo saver even closer to the front of the car, more forward than the studs on the spindle arms when the limit is reached.

I am able to go to full mechanical lock with the wheels almost touching the arms and still don't hit "snaplock".

I did this and had the same problem.
Move them back to the rear and this should keep some sort of angle at the end of the throw.

Hey Craig .... you (as usual) are 100% right .... moving the outside links back has helped but not enough. The inside (on steering rack) are in the back position now and I planned on moving them forward (toward front of car) next time out. I've also Mickey Mouse'd a new steering stop and will try that out. If it still persists, Hong Kong here I come for that Yeah Racing blingy stop thing.

It looks like the steering linkage arm with the ballstuds on it is on a slide?

Is it all the way forward and if so, can the slot be elongated just a little more forward to move the arm forward to keep the ballstuds on that arm more forward than the studs on the spindle arms?

Adam, how much clearance is there between the top of the spacer and the bottom of the upper swing arm?

Reason: the friction damper connecting the a ball mount atop of this spacer...

For me the only way to deal with this was to stop using the servo saver and using a strong-metal gear-digi servo. When the wall reaches out and grabs my car it rarely bends the steering arm a little bit.
