HPI's new F1

From my limited running, spur gears will be consumable.
Lower wishbone/nose piece too, and probably the upper wishbones to go with that.

The nose piece actually looks quite solid on this. I know from running the previous tamiya versions, that the nose was the first to get damaged, but that mainly the bodyshell part of the nose, and not the solid plastic part itself.

I will have to keep up with this thread, our local track is trying to create a spec class for this car. Would only allow this car box stock, using an HPI Saturn 27T motor and Orion Experience Lipo. Can only change front springs. Must use stock pinion and larger spur. Will be interesting to see how it all works out.

HPI is seriously screwing with my A.D.D., I have had one on order with the local hobby shop (I guess I could have ordered one from overseas but I was trying to do the support the local guy thing) and I call every couple of weeks and it seems like everytime its date is pushed back farther and farther.
I could see something shiny and completely forget about that car any moment now.
