oh hey henry well ya i did it for both grip and drift
the thickness of the spacer is as thick as the rear wheelbase spacers on one side put together if you have rear tc3 hubs that is
mine is color white but i also have black ones and thats what i used..you use a total of 3 spacers
put the spacers under the front arm mount... one right under the bumper mount but on top of bumper and the other two is on top of the bumper but under the arm mount (each next to the screw nubs things) if you want a picture just ask me if you dont quite understand... sorry

I got it. I'll have to try it out when spring comes. How is it running now through your turns?

BMI TC3 or FT TC 4
Can any of the long time AE guys answer a question for me?
What is a better car for asphalt racing?(BMI TC3 or FT TC 4)
I have heard that the TC3 with the BMi 3mm chassis is the way to go.
I have also heard that the ackermann, and the sterring slop is much better on the TC3.
Any help would be great.............
Thanks,
E

like in drift or in grip well heres the answer for both: grip i get more grip with the steering and so my turns are much easier to do and for drift i am able to counter steer more now and i like that beacuse countersteer for 4wds in drifting is not needed throughout the turn but with my setup its looks like rear wheel drive
did i answer you question?
did i answer you question?
oh ya ill go with the FT TC4 alot better but if your just going to bash around then ill go with the BMI TC3
yer id get the FT TC4 i had a TC3 3mm conversion kit and in all honesty it didnt make a massive difference i went back to the STD FT chassis iv'e never tried ackerman
here is my caster mod i just used black spacers but its the same thickness as the white ones you can tell the thickness in the pic
i put a foam tape so the spacer doent slide out from vibrartions
and sorry... its a bit blurry if you still have ?s just ask, im fine with it

Red-Line, the TC3 with the BMI chassis handles excellent, and is certainly not a basher. After I put a new chassis on my car, I started winning races. I run on a high-traction, indoor asphalt surface. I run my car very stiff, and this may not work on a low-traction surface.

Need a basic set up??
Looking for a good set up for my ft tc3. Not the new version. The chassis has been milled for the battery to sit closer inside. Other than that it has the settings to the manual. Does the rear shock tower replacing the front tower really make that much of a differance?

I use to standard front shock tower that came with the kit. By using the rear tower on the front, you are moving the socks out toward the wheels more, and you can use a softer spring. Try it, the parts are cheap.
If you dont like your setup now, what do you want the car to do? The problem with using other drivers setup is that it may not suit your driving style. The settings right from the box are pretty good. change the rear toe block to 2+0 if you have not already tried it. Also, the amount of droop in both front and rear suspension arms can make a huge difference.

umm i have i big problem for a long time now and i was wondering if anybody is having problems with the droop and the shock oils being just right
maybe i should just rebuild my shocks and reset my droop...do you guys think i should do that?
oh ya im using composite shock bodies and caps... should i change that?
THANKS
