Default Thank you to everyone who has come out.

I just want to Thank everyone who has come out and checked out the track. Everyone's input has been great and much appreciated. I am hoping to have my drivers stand completed this week and we are pretty much good to go from there. The track will be finished in the next couple of days and the final wiring for the pit areas will be finished as well. We are still working out the details for our transponders, hardware, etc. Our racing schedule will be completed once our lap counter system is in place.

Our hours will be as follows:
Mon-Fri 12pm - 11pm
Sat & Sun 12 - 11pm

Our hours of operation for an earlier opening will depend on traffic we get. If I get a bunch of people wanting to run early then I will open the track early.

Track fees will be as follows:
Mon-Fri - $10.00 all day
Sat-Sun - $12.00 all day
I am working out the details for weekly, monthly memberships etc.

For those of you who do not have a car/truck or are stuck between the Slash and SC10 we will have rentals. All rentals will run on LIPO so you will get a minimum of 30 min of run time per battery. We are using 5200mAH, 25C rated LIPO's so you will definately enjoy.

Rental rates are as follows:
Slash or SC10 - $10 per battery
Insurance (Optional) - $2.00 Insurance will cover any breakage.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions please send email to [email protected].

Also check out our website at lrhhobbies.com

Thanks!

WOOOHOOO

I'm digging those times and rates and the rentals, that is a added bonus. In the event I'm down with the batts on the charger, $10 for 30mins ain't bad at all, plus it will be greatly appricated for those wanting to get there feet wet.

I just stopped by the track on the way home and it is going to be really fun ounce it's all done. They are really cool over there and open to suggestions too....which is great.

The dirt is amazing. I don't think I have ever felt dirt with that much bite.

Check it out if you can you will dig it.

The track is approximately 340ft of total track. The lane widths vary between 9-10ft.

We will be working on the track tomorrow so if you are nearby feel free to drop by. If you have your car you can give it a try.

Thanks,
Looks good except for not a lot of turnmarshalling spaces.......,
Other wise it looks like it may be fun........

Is anyone going to be around tonight. I would love to stop by and check out the new place! Only 8 miles north of my house! Also just curious why a triangle track?

Just saw this thread.......track layout looks cool. Triangle shape of the track is interesting. Looks like fun.

Whats the pit space situation? How many spots?

Default Triangle

Triangle worked out that way because of the limited space. The shop is on 6000 sq ft so we tried to put in as much track as possible while still having room for a pit are and driver stand.

We will be there till 8 today. Feel free to stop by.

Thanks

Aww, too bad it's even FURTHER from me than OC/RC. This looks like it's going to be another pretty nice track. Like Danny S and so many others have said, these new tracks popping up speaks to the health of the hobby. In the middle of a recession, R/C seems to be preparing to boom (at least electric is).

I like that triangular shape, should provide some really interesting layouts.

Stopped by last night and they let me get some laps on the track. They were working on the middle of the layout so I made my own track! Track is a decent size. I think with the middle back in play it will produce decent lap times. Traction was good as well. Should be a real fun place!

I got to do some laps for the first time last night also and it was a good time. The traction was good and the layout is almost fully up and running. It still needs a couple of shovel sessions to make it complete but it is really close to being done.

Thanks guys!
