Here's my 104 Pro that I built for the big F1 day at Tamiya last weekend, but couldn't make it due to illness in the family..
And where I notched the chassis so I could use my Orion 3400 LiPo

I used E-Flite 4mm's, and they have a "ring" that goes around them, cut them off at the ring, and solder the wire onto the flat surface thats left.You can see the "ring" im talking about in the pic

Hey Guys,
I've lost the spacer for the front wheels (BC4, 19804246). Unfortunately, I could not find one on the internet and my lhs hasn't one available. Might it be possible to use the 1.5mm spacer (19804372) of the TRF416?

Instead of notching the chassis to accomodate the bullett plugs, I cut down the plug, and they fit very nicely I used E-Flite 4mm's, and they have a "ring" that goes around them, cut them off at the ring, and solder the wire onto the flat surface thats left.

BTW... I drove my car at Bending Corners Raceway yesterday (outdoor asphalt medium to high grip) for the first time and my car didn't have any of the "problems" people have been complaining about.... my car is silver can, with the smaller stock spur gear.... I drove it with the rear spring removed with the stock t-bar...
The car was straight as an arrow on the back straight... and the only thing I noticed was that it had some high speed understeer (not necessarily on power, just higher speed). low speed oversteer... but after a lap or two, it was really easy to get used to and compensate for... rear end was planted
Sight toe-in, stock tires, rear spring removed, stock t-bar, Team Orion 3400, Spektrum 3500, Novak XRS, negative camber setting, no tire additive....
if anyone has any ideas about the over/under steering issue, I'm all ears.. but other than that... the 104 is a keeper....

Get a pack of 53539 - 0.5, 1, 2 and 3mm spacers.

I never use grease on my fricton plates. I use the low friction Teflon pads tamiya makes for the f103. The white ones. They work as well as greased reg. ones for me...just run them tighter for the same effect.
