i currently am running the tamiya aluminum motor mounts part #54166 and i would like to be able to raise my rear height more than i can currently get. Will the aluminum motor mounts off the f104ver 2 part #54356 allow me to get more ride height in the rear or is it essentially the same as the version 1 rear aluminum motor mounts????
thanks

It works well even with small dia F103 tires (about 4mm more ride height than Tamiya F104 motor mount) but it is quite expensive...

When installing the spur gear adapter for a F104 diff I noticed that the adapter itself is thicker than the spur gear. This causes a slight amount of wooble in the spur gear. Should I sand the adapter down to the same thickness as the spur gear or should I just leave it the way it is?
