Thanks for the compliment. Most the parts are home made and the top plate/damper from Zen/TRG.

These are home R&D for the F104's parts. All these parts are easy to get from Japan

Mr. Lightfoot
Are you racing on Sunday at Cam Marino?
If not I may stop by after work on Saturday at the track to give you the BMW's Team uniforms.

Reading through the UF1 rules I see there are pit stops...are these just a stop and go type pit stop or are they required to change batteries or something? I remember when I was making the rules for our F1 series back in the day we made the races long enough so that battery changes were necessary...these days that is pretty hard to do.

The stop times vary somewhat, approx 5-8 secs depending on the track and pit lane access.

A decal is installed at the time of the stop to keep everyone honest

Oh it did...back when I was in charge of OFRA we had races as long as 45 mins until people started being able to go the full time with no pits.

Hey Champ, have you seen Tim's pit light timer?
Step on the pedal to start timer for bout 8 seconds and go when light tells pit guy to put you down, still get stickers of course and still 2 pit stops/stickers mandatory.
This is only for the "Realistic"/modern F1 class.
The Open class rockets, well, no one wants to stop one in the pits. so it's just a sprint til clock ends it.
