The culprit here is an effect called galling.
Aluminum is prone to seizing, and anodizing is easily worn off of threaded components. On my 1:1 car, I use an anti-seize compound called "Copaslip" which has copper dust suspended in a lubricant. It works great and is much less messy than other anti-seize products. It's available from most race shops.

I've seen a Tekin RS Pro run a silver can, there's a specific wiring diagram for that. Do you have it wired right?

If I remember correctly, there are a couple settings within the software that should be set. Did you do that? Could just be a burnt esc. Did the magic smoke get out of the case?

thanks for the gearing web site it's cool by the way I'm running my tires at 50mm and spur at 93 and my pinion at 25 and it's does not make sense when I calculate it with this formula ,,, tire size X pinion X 3.142= 3927.5 is this right get back to me Thanks Faroh

Yeah if you used it in TC with a BL motor you have to remember to change the motor type to brushed or it won't work with the silver can motor.

Burt....
I got a hold of a 104Pro. Oh boy, the wheels are turning already. I put one race day on it and got my ass handed to me. So many things to address. I applied a short course of corrections to see if I am out of my mind, but we'll see this Sat. This is just a skinny pan car with a funky t-bar. Should be able to make it work!

Oh, forgot to mention that I spent a scant 72 hours in Honolulu a few weeks ago. I didn't call. That was rude. I'll have to come back.
