They are out of stock at d-drivesports, and I'm becoming addicted to F1.
Just use the spur gear adapter with the F103 arbor for the F104 front wheel.

The adapter ring fits over 103 arbor like a sleeve. Then the 104 tire goes over that, if I get his meaning.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I thought that the 103 and 104 wheels (front & rear) were the same???

So, there's an arbor for the F103. I'll see if I can find a source.

I'm very new to F1. Built my car 3 weeks ago. I have only had 2 races. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm having a lot of fun with my F104.

The f104 has a bigger front bearing. D-drive sports has the arbor.

Default Tyre (tire) wear?

I think I'm starting to get into a groove with my F104 at my local track and slowly pushing it a little harder.

I've found the B compound Tamiya tyres to work well for me here (outdoor asphalt) and it's getting better as the summer days kick in.

Just curious - over 2 heats and three finals on Sunday, I must have gone through 50% of the front tyres, but the rears didn't show too much obvious wear.

Is this consistent with what others have seen? Is this track dependent? Is my setup possibly in need of some tweaking?

I will try to remember the video camera for my next outing and throw it up to Youtube or something.

Phil.

same thing happened also in our local track outdoor asphalt, the front tire wear faster than the rear tire. after 1 practice, 3 qualifications, and 1 final (12 minutes) they have to change new front tires. I do try their car and what i can say it's fast, it's easy to drive almost like a touring cars.

The real trick will be making sure that there's a range of compounds. One of our guys tried the Shimuzus - according to him they worked well on our track in the evening, but due to the extra heat (temperature) last Sunday didn't work well at all.

I could live with that - I'm happy with the B's during the daytime, but switching to rubber for the cooler evening runs might work.

my car is dialed on the carpet. maybe this car was meant for running on carpet. it turns very good and is stable down the straight and no weight transfer issues on the carpet.

Can i ask how you got your 104 dialed for carpet? Do you have a massive room that's carpeted? How long's your straight away? This's how I run out here. Not full speed, tring to be cautious. Sorry if you've already seen this.
