I NEED HELP WITH SETUP!!!!!!!!!!
Hey,You wanted me too let you know how I did Saturday. Well it couldn't have been any better. I won all 3 of my heats and was TQ and I won the 20 min. A main by 2 laps. It was awsome! The car was really easy to handle and I even had some people come to me after the race and say it looked like my car was on rails. I sure want to thank you again for the advice I have all of it saved in it's own file.
Thank You

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!
Hey,
Another quick question. At the begining of the day the first time I fire up my engine it revs pretty high then when It warms up it sounds ok. Is that normal for nitro engines to do that?

If plastic, put CA glue in the hole and screw in the screw. It will hold it in place but still allow you to remove it. If it's metal, the best thing is to buy a new part as the threads may be stripped out. If you want you can try red locktite but Make sure you use a high quality screw because red locktite is really hard to get the screw loose, and you may just strip out the screw head. I would also suggest if you do use red loctite to heat the head of the screw for 10-20 seconds with the tip of a Soldering iron to loosen up the loctite

I'm not familiar with the car, does it screw into plastic or metal?

Just be careful..red locktite is like glue! You must heat the locktite before you remove the screw or you will just strip out the screw head..try this first..Put some of that white plumbers thread tape on the screw and then screw it down, see what that does, but try it for practice only. not during a race

Give the stuff a cleaning with some motor spray to get all possible oils off the parts. That way the locktite has a better chance at doing its job.

I have not had any trouble out of mine. The only thing I noticed when replacing was the bushings are keyed and can be a pain in the but to get them just right.
I put the bushing in and then use a flathead screwdriver and turn until it drops in place. Then very little blue loctite. Also pay attention to the different size bushings. The short ones go on top and the longer ones are for the bottom. Good Luck.
