SC10 Question

SC10 Question
Will the gear diff from a SC10 work in a T4/B4 transmission?
#3
Actually I asked Rick that very same thing;
Ah, so the gear diff requires a different tranny case? Did the internal ratio change or is it just wider than a ball diff?
The internal is the same. I am not sure why the case are different to be honest. But you can fit the older case with ball diff in the SC10.

the rear t-plate is diffrent on the sc10 so you will need the t-plate off the sc10 for the t4-b4 othier then that it should work as long as you have the sc10 trans case

So some of the T4 tranny guts would work with a SC10 gear diff but ultimately you'd need a SC10 tranny case to pull it off? Is the SC10 tranny case a direct bolt-on to the T4 chassis?

the sc10 trans case is way diffrent from the t4/b4 you would need the sc10 transmison an rear t-plate to convert the t4/b4 to gear diff. ive driven the losi with a gear diff its alot better to me with a gear diff then a ball diff
