Reventon S and R should be out later this month...I hope.

I've read the paper sheets that come with the esc and it says that th esc is in sensor-less mode so that makes sense. Just need to know how to get it out of that setting. It was purchased from Hobbies crazy on Ebay not long ago and I live in New Zealand so I cant really just take it down to my local hobby store and the response time from emails from Speed Passion is to say the least, pathetic. Most of the time I dont even get a reply. I dont have a local hobby store unfortunately.
Please see PM for instruction, thanks...

So I threw my SP V3 1S 13.5 in a boosted class this last weekend (ROAR Region 11 Champs) and I could not get the Tekin setup to get that motor working well at all. I was destroyed on the straights no matter how much boost/turbo, and any config I tried (different RPM range, delays, etc...) and a bit soft on the infield. and almost never got even above 145*.

Any real advice would be good on what kind of a boost profile (generally) is used for the V3 1S motors better. or if a different rotor is the key, or what...

Because this thing is a dog otherwise...

You can gear up...your motor temp tells you you have rooms to do so.

I am washing my hands of Speed Passion brand. All I have is up for auction on eBay Item number: 300701881227. Not much, but I am done. Thank you for your attention.

Solara, I can gear up, and yes it makes the motor hotter, but it bogs like mad coming out of corners. Adding 2 teeth cost me almost 2/10ths of a second in lap times, but did make my motor hot!...

Seems weird how odd these motors are about gearing and timing. No setup from a Reedy, TP, RevTech, Duo, etc... seems to work on these, or even close to working.

It sounds like you are putting too much at the motor with that setup. It's probably really hard on your batteries. Try going to 3-5,000 start RPM, 18/* turbo slope, and 250-400rpm/degree. Your FDR might be a bit too far also... try about 5.6-5.8.
