Wow! That big of a difference? No wonder I felt slow at 5.2 up from a 3.8!!!
I will keep moving toward the 7. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, you guys are running boosted 17.5 right..? If so...7 or even 8 is about right (depends on the size of the track). Here in US we are dropping the boosted class and most of us are running no timing now...so there might not be too much setup sheet to share about boosted 17.5 or any boosted class....

But if I do have new setup...I will post on the site, keep checking the setup page here..

mattwoodcraft,
Is this in a TC? Carpet or asphalt? Boosted or blinky?

Solara, Here at Fastlane in MO, there are still a few guys running boosted and I could understand that difference going from blinky to boost. I will be testing more tomorrow night in blinky mode to try to find the right fdr.
Thanks for being close by. Another reason I choose to run SP!!

this is on a TC boosted asphalt track it is a large track 65m front straight and 40 rear

i have the standard timing on the MMM with a 40 boost and a 24 turbo running a 7.1-7.4 FDR dropping adding a tooth on the pinion have a data logger coming so we can start setting the correct boost start RPM i have it on 3000 at the moment but i think this might be a bit low 4000 might be better

it took me 8 battarys with the last 2 batterines running the full 6m30

The new APP (android/apple app) is designed for the new REVENTON series ESC. However, we might do a conversion and might cover the current GT models.

Im looking at buying a GT2.0 pro esc. They seem to be hard to find in stock anywhere...
Are SP coming out with a replacement soon? If so should I wait?

I think they are coming out with a replacement early next year, but the GT 2.0 Pro is an awesome ESC and it's cheap...

i have a older cirtix esc that i was going to use in a 17.5 no timing class. I sow that there is a new one out. I sow that the esc wire and switch wires are not plug in instead of solding them to the board.

is that the only difference?

thanks.

Yes, new ESC (REVENTON) is coming out, but the GT series ESC will be active until 2012.

The plug version is just a updated version of the Cirtix Club Spec. The new REVENTON STOCK CLUB RACE will be out end of year/early next year...
