Hmm. That's quite warm. My concern was whether the magnets will start to go bad if I hit temps above 80C. Cos trying to keep a 4 turn motor cool with no fan around is quite tough.

If you can get the motor to stay around 70C, it will be ok. I m using FDR around 8.5-9.0 with 4T (depend on track layout) and 9.3-10 with 3.5T. All using lipo and the temp remain between 68-74C which I think is ok for an SP motor. All temp reading was done after 5 mins of driving using Infrared thermometer. And yes I m using motor heat sink with fan.

Just got my Comp. 3.0 11.5T. Seems to have the same rotor and sensors as previous motors. The timing is adjustable from 0 - 10 degrees by loosening the 3 screws holding the motor together and just slide the sensor port left/right. It likes to be geared heavier than any motor I've ever used....

In fact i really wonder to use it without be disqualified in scrutineering, due our race rules is limited in motor KV and not in "motor turns" as usually happened in any country.

Best regards

The V3 motors are starting to trickle in here in the US...

We received some 4.0T, 4.5T and 8.5T's today

Adam,

You get my email? I know that I'm being annoying.....But I know you understand...

Guys just to let everyone know. The 2.0 GT pro in a 12th scale 1s lipo setup is a deadly combo. I know it's a tad bulky for the space avaible in a 12th scale. But it is easy to balance out with some lead. If you have any questions feel free to ask Adam......LOL> Just kidding thanks for the great factory support. I'll be happy to share my setup with anyone.

Chad

In coincidence i have heard our organization will using that device of SP to measuring the motors, i hope all motors will have the same power to not be DSQ, i hope.

But could tell also when will release, please?

Anyway, thanks for cyanyde contribution!
