Thanks to all who responded to my questions. I have the 528 Stock software loaded now, ready to try it out.

I run the 528 stock with a 17.5 v3 in my cougar sv and i found that the settings are quite different from onroad. I ran it on a grass track about 25 meter straigth. Started with a 7.7 fdr and ended up at 9.9 fdr supercharger settings 12:7 13:5 14:5 15:4
In offroad you have to consider the surface you run on ! on clay the car rolls easy while on grass it rolls heavy. also the tires are something you need to factor in how much they swell at full throttle.
So there is no universal setting you just have to try it and keep a close eye on the temp.

Hello guys ..
I want to use an SP GT2.0 PRO, motor SP 3.5 or 4.5 with Xray t2009 on the circuit very fast and medium grip.
Using the new software 528 mod. that benefits you have?
With these motors can use the super charger setting?
Any advice on parameters to use
Thanks
P.s. sorry for my English Translator

What is the max temp range on the V3 motors? I ran mine in offroad Saturday and it got hot 236* and never faded or melted anything ran very strong. I changed esc settings and got it down to 150 but it felt really weak. Should this motor run more like the lrp x12 and around 200 or is that too high?

I run a V3 8.5 offroad dirt track medium grip with a GT2.1 Prostock, on a Kyosho RB5SP, the temp recorder last night was literally only 80 degrees ! Everyone thought I also had the fastest 2WD vehicle that night. Clearing all jumps by a longshot. I also use the powercap, and once 528 was installed temp went down like 30 or 40 degrees also, it made a big difference. Plus the setings

236* is not safe for any 540 sized brushless motor. You were probably one lap away from the motor going up in smoke.

Default 17.5 Shortcourse master combo

Just purchased this setup. It says sensored but the ESC doesn't look like it has a sensored harness. The motor looks sensored. Anyone using this? It is a new product.

Have you tried a different (clean) temp gun? Not too long ago we were temping motors close to 200*, come to find out we were off 30+ degrees when using another temp gun.

yip a clean temp gun is very important, dust on a infra red temp gun will give all sorts of readings

I personally try not go over 75c or 170F and using motors above this and you can start melting things and cause permanant damage

i've got an issue with my new GT 2.0 and a speedpassion V3 4.0T motor.

Im running at medium/large track. (amca in holland) 50 meter straight.
When i gear the engine at 8.40 i the car just keeps going without any problems. 0 timing and drrs on 4.

Since the top speed isn't that great i tryed to gear it to 7.98 instead of adding timing. But now after around of 7 the car stops and i wait 1 min and it goes again. I thougd it should be the heat protection on the speedo. After i put the protection off the problem was still there. as soon as i gear below 8.2 the car stops after around 7 laps.

Settings speedo (don't know which firmware) dont have the usb device. It just a new one.

Has anybody tried ordering from the www.speedpassion.net site to the US? What kind of delivery time did you experience?
