Does anyone have a good starting point setup for a Sp V3.0 6.5T for a track like this? : Click! (the main straight is about 100ft/30m long) traction is medium/high

ESC SP GT2.1 (with MOD firmware)

Motor 6.5T sp V3.0

Car TOP Photon

Rubber tyres

Many thanks!

Hi. I dug up my old car to run rcgt powered by 1.1 lpf. I havent run this car for over 2 years and it seems way slower than i remembered. Compared to another car with 27t brushed powered by same battery, it just doesnt move. It was run on indoor track and never overheated. Could I have messed the motor or the esc by overheating it with soldering iron? I dont know what would have messed it up. I still have another lpf powering a 10.5 and that seems to work properly.

Thank you mr fit, what firmware do you think is best for such motors? I'm currently using 205mod...

P.s.
What about DRRS setting? (item #4)

Forgive me for so many questions

Keep the 422 firmware. Just tone it down for mod. As this firmware was made for stock. Now you have the options for turbo delay timing and turbo boost. Similar to the tekin. The DRRS setting I usually keep it at 8 or 9 depending on your gearing. But now you can fiddle with option 13 and 15 as this will give you more punch. So you don't really have to worry about the DRRS.

So if you want to use the SpeedPassion ESC for superstock and for spec stock, do you need to flash it with different firmware each time? Like from 422 to 518 or whatever? Or does 422 have a compliant spec stock mode?

If you DL the software from the site, you will have 3 programs to choose from which is already installed in your system if you have the LCD Box. 205, 422, and ZERO. All you have to do is load it up. You can choose between the three.

422 works great from 9.5 to 21.5 motors. There are guys using it for mod racing also.. I've been using 422 for 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5.

I'm thinking about IIC, where there's a 17.5 class (no timing) and a 17.5 class (open ESC), and how I'm going to handle running both. Re-flashing the firmware on an ESC between each run seems like a lot of work. Does the little programming box store profiles and things like that? Can you flash with new firmware and load up your settings pretty quickly, or do you have to change your settings each time you load the new firmware?

Default GT 2.1 on F104Pro with 17.5 motor

Hi,

Just a quick question. Can anybody please share a base setting for 17.5 motor on a F104Pro using GT 2.1 Pro Stock. Thank you very much for sharing. I just purchased a brand new unit and it will be really helpful to start with a safe and good base. Thanks again.
