Nah - they earn enough $$$$ from the hop-up market. Wouldn't make business sense?!?!

you could put it that way NT and it does make sence on making more business...

but you know this car isn't going to be $99 or $150 not even $180 I say they "might" put all the bells and whistles in it but we'll have to pay a pretty penny....does that make sence?

Wouldn't they be more likely to price it in the same ballpark as the M03 and 04 series? Cheap end of the scale, easy to buy and run for rookies, lots of extra bits for those of us that race them a little more competitively.

Guess we'll find out in good time - maybe i'll have to time my overseas stint later this year with a personal visit to Champ to see what they are like up close

I think tamiya is more about banking on it more then selling it cheap to true racers...

gotta remember this...this is a WHOLE NEW mold...this car is all new they spent there time and money and tamiya experts to design this whole new car.. for them to sell it the same price of the m03 and m04 (which is around 100-130) they would sell a butt load....but if they sell them for $190+ there going to sell like hotcakes STILL and bank off of the product even more...and look at the m03r, it was a hopped up chassis ALONE and that sold for 160+..

since this a all new car and no parts are based off the older cars then its well worth it. and if it sells alot, I hope it stays around like the m03.

I believe tamiya got upset on how the m03 took corners and made this car to take faster quicker turns. no weight on top and better shock angle in the front... those two things just scream huge improvement..what do you think?
also everything loooww.

and yes it would be cool going over seas just to check this car out! but ill save my chips now and wait

$190? Thats nearly in the ballpark of the HPI Cup Racer.

A bit too much for a FWD mini if you ask me... Shoot, thats TA05 price territory too.

The M03R didn't come with a body so i don't think it will come with a body...and they haven't advertized it with a body....yet...so i doubt it...

If its coming out in june in japan i say july or august...i could be wronge but lets hope it come out sooner or around july or aug...

What would you guys say if it comes with plastic bushing???

Nice price,

Live rates at 2009.04.15 20:29:43 UTC
10,000.00 JPY = 100.591 USD
Japan Yen United States Dollars

Now with shipping cost to the us distributors kit should be $130-$150 usd? May be I am wrong?
