my first car was an M01 so i cant wait to get my hands on the M05 when it comes out.

This new mini seems to suffer the ailment the real mini has. It's getting almost as big as a "normal" size car. Right now I think it's close if not already capable to take the battery lengthwise, which I think would be a good idea. Not sure why Tamiya didn't do it yet.

so you're saying its a full size 10th scale and NOT a M-chassis? LOL

its the same layout as the m03! its a big m03?

Pretty sure the new Tamiya is the same width/wheelbase as the older minis...

Perhaps the picture is distorted lengthwise, but if you look at the battery in the picture and take its length and turn it sideways it looks like it would fit hence my comment. The older minis did not allow this at all. Sure, everything else has to go out of the tub, not sure where but I think the battery would have the priority in the interest of weight balance.
