Most of us did see the screw in the bottom to pinch the clamp, but that hasn't always proven to be a foolproof system to keep a motor from twisting.

yeah, chris grainger has done a ton of testing and he said the motor twists about 50% of the time. he now uses c/a to keep it in place and that has been 100% effective, 60% of the time.

i'm told it's a bit on the messy side, though.

Actually seaball hot glue would work better as you would have just enough time after the race to get the motor out before it cools down too much. So you going to race now?

I don't see how the motor rotating would bother gear mesh. The rotor or arm, is in the center of the can, rotating the motor should change the mesh. I could be wrong though lol

I'm pretty sure that the mass of the rotor has almost nothing to do with the amount of torque the motor puts on its clamp.

I think the Schmucka team has everything under control with the whole clamp thing. I'm just curious how great the car would be on Carpet on how it's designed. The main chassis doesn't seem to thick, and the top deck looks nothing more than a piece of cheese as flex is concerned. Other than those little things it looks sweet. Can't wait to try it out.

I noticed on the Schumacher site they are estimating price in UK to be 349.99(GBP) which I put in to my handy currancy converter and in USD that price looks like it would convert from pounds to $514.16

By the way the car does look sharp and that lighter bulkhead is a plus along with the nifty changes in the steering.

Adam, you owe me!!!!!

Looks like a flexy chassis. But look good for asphalt.

The bulkheads look super light weight. The front shock tower looks a little bulky though. But those bulkheads are just cool

Great looking car. I always liked my MI3. I have been looking at racing touring again in the future so if that happens I guess I know what car I will be buying. Now if Schumacher would just get a 2wd offroad buggy done.

since you live in arkansas, i would suggest buying it from a u.s. retailer, given that the price is said to fall between $479 and $499. the shipping will be cheaper as well.

Default redhash of mi3

I remember when the mi3 came out, tons of hype, tons of orders. A couple months later most were for sale. How exactly is this car different? If you want precision and durability, get xray. If you want a different design, get the losi jrxs type-r.

We'll see what happens, but I don't think it will be much different from mi3.

Good luck schumacher!!
