Schumacher Mi4

Only concern should be with brushed motors, as more mass rotating, causing more torque in the clamp, pretty sure brushless won't be much of a issue.
Most of us did see the screw in the bottom to pinch the clamp, but that hasn't always proven to be a foolproof system to keep a motor from twisting.

i'm told it's a bit on the messy side, though.

Actually seaball hot glue would work better as you would have just enough time after the race to get the motor out before it cools down too much. So you going to race now?

I don't see how the motor rotating would bother gear mesh. The rotor or arm, is in the center of the can, rotating the motor should change the mesh. I could be wrong though lol

I think the Schmucka team has everything under control with the whole clamp thing. I'm just curious how great the car would be on Carpet on how it's designed. The main chassis doesn't seem to thick, and the top deck looks nothing more than a piece of cheese as flex is concerned. Other than those little things it looks sweet. Can't wait to try it out.

By the way the car does look sharp and that lighter bulkhead is a plus along with the nifty changes in the steering.

Great looking car. I always liked my MI3. I have been looking at racing touring again in the future so if that happens I guess I know what car I will be buying. Now if Schumacher would just get a 2wd offroad buggy done.

since you live in arkansas, i would suggest buying it from a u.s. retailer, given that the price is said to fall between $479 and $499. the shipping will be cheaper as well.

redhash of mi3
I remember when the mi3 came out, tons of hype, tons of orders. A couple months later most were for sale. How exactly is this car different? If you want precision and durability, get xray. If you want a different design, get the losi jrxs type-r.
We'll see what happens, but I don't think it will be much different from mi3.
Good luck schumacher!!
