Hi Martin
Is it any particular reason wy the swaybars on your car differ from that of the original on Schumacher site, regarding attachment and ballends ?

Doesn't seem like it. When i asked why the bulkheads were redesigned rather than alternative blocks i was told its expensive to make moulds for blocks rather than just re drilling the bulkheads in a different place. Personally i would have liked to have seen the plastic blocks adjusted. And like most other cars, to have a range so you can play with arm angles for anti dive and other adjustments without the weight disadvantage you get with the alloy blocks or the lack of reliability you get with them.

Not sure who posted about differences between LP and CX. LP and CX had the same mounting heights for the pin mounts. CXL bulkheads have had these points lowered by 0.5mm front and rear.
For people that really want to adjust this height, then the alloy blocks remain the option.
As a team in the UK, anti squat / anti dive isn't something that has ever bothered us.

Good change
This is probably a good change lowering the bulkhead .5mm for the hing pin retainers.
they will end up probably selling less alloy mounts but the change is good overall.
the lower pins sat pretty high off the chassis...great for very low traction not so good for high bite.
From the looks of it most purchased the alloy blocks to drop the pins or angle them.
the opposite will happen now...get the alloy blocks to raise up the pins or angle.
my .2 cent ...it's a good change....i believe better traction...less traction rolling.
a little less to purchase to get the car started.

Hi guys.
I have posted the Setup I have used at ETS Rd. 2 in Italy.
It's my basic setup for the CXL!
I have also made some pictures of my car (as requested :-)
You can find both posts on my blog
Have fun reading and feel free to ask questions anytime.
I'm very sorry when it takes me ages to answer to private messages but I don't check them very regularly to be honest :-)

lightrr
i would imagine the CXL is lighter
since they reduced the amount of metal in the bulkheads as well as probably needing the optional alloy mounts..
my CX fully stocked came in at 1390
10 grams over...but i have a lot of wire on it. and no TI screws or alum installed yet.
let's cross our fingers and hope it's lighter.
