The shafts bent just giving them a look. My Mi3 and Mi4 had bent shafts after a day. Any aluminum shafts bend, but the MI shafts are worse.

Ya, I have only had that happen after a full speed crash when I sneezed Other than that, have yet to bend them in a low speed impact.

EDIT: realized I have stated this before. Sorry, my memory is failing me. I feel like an old geezer telling the same stories over and over.

You guys seriously have issues with the driveshafts? Odd..... Seriously this car has been all but flawless for me. Seriously I have such confidence in the parts quality that I don't stock spares generally. ONLY when I break a part will I buy 2. Wear and tear on the kit has been so very minimal for me as well.

Not here to argue though, EVERYONE has a different experience with a kit.

On a side note, I just LOVE the Schumacher diff. Best diff I have had yet.

Now go forth and crash less!
Does your track have boards or curbs? makes a big difference. I didn't bend the bones as much as wore out the holes in the bone where the pins go through. The newer ones had 4 holes so you could get a bit more out of them, but its still a not good situation.

We used to have the track rails that are very flat, but since our Roar race, we have been using double stacked 2x2s. Still no problems....then again, I just don't hit things often.

:Cough cough: "I am bowling for cars!" :Cough cough: Should just pull the drivers car right then and there...

Schumacher C hubs. You have to drill out the schuie blades to over the bone.

I like the gray blades. Seem to last longer.

Just a couple of questions regarding the Mi4LP-Pro

Do you guy's run a servo saver?, if yes, what type?

Do you suffer any major (regular) breakages with this model?

What arms (med?) do you run & find most effective on a low grip surface?

Many thanks in advance

I use a medium size kimbrough saver.

I don't suffer any major breakage. Unless I have a brain fart and crash hard

I like CF front arms and meduim rear arms. I feel that the car makes alot of front traction so you don't need to use meduim front arms.

I also use a Kimborough medium sized servo saver

I have been liking the C/F short arms lately all round, might try mediums rear sometime though.

Regarding breakages the car is the strongest car I have ever owned. I replace front driveshaft blades quite alot, the CF arms are the weakest but I have only damaged them on the rear if you get hit from behind or something. Like all cars the hingepins can break if you hit something in the wrong way.

I am very happy with the car and is the best car I have ever had, What makes it better is the support from other drivers and Schumacher themselves if you ever need help with your kit.

Good luck with whatever kit you choose
