Thanks for the info. I just picked up a pipe/manifold off ebay last night for 15 bux. So that will definately suit me for quite awhile. All I'm trying to do right now is get the thing rolling, so I can drive it a bit before I race it.

I'm looking into getting a 777 standard kit and I would like to know what peoples thoughts on this buggy are. I already have a K2 with some hopups, so I want to know how interchangable are the k2's to 777's. I.E. chassis braces and whatnot. I plan to use my K2 for spares. Thanks.

Scrad, my bud owns a 777, but I don't, still, i've heard about the car...alot. I think the shocks are interchangeable, as well as some of the diff parts, brakes and obviously the hardware will be about the same, even though the phillips screws are not high on my list for a car in this price range.

All of the molded parts are different i'm told, so you'll need some spares for those.............Hope that helps, Jim

The rear shocks are 4mm longer on the 777 than the K2/3.

The bazooka is truly one of the lowest quality buggies I have ever seen. Most of the parts aren't even close to the 7.5

Hey guys, I have a question. I have a Mp7.5 standard kit and I was wondering if there is anything that I can get from the Kanai series or the 777 that will help my 7.5? I heard that a K3 center differential helps out the regular 7.5 a lot, is this true? Thanks.

Anyone know of any paper air filters for 1/8 buggies? Something like is used on an AE GT? I prefer those kind of filters as I think they are better, and definately cheaper than foam filters. That's with a prefilter wrapped around them.

777 front A-arms are the same as the MP 7.5, all other suspension components are 777 specific. Front shocks are the same. Rears 4mm longer. The diferentials interchange the center diff housing and brakes, brake cam setup is the same, the diff housings are the same. The rear chassis brace is the same as the KIII I dunno about the KII. The front chassis brace is 777 specific. I have the 777 SP-1 and will buy another when this one is worn out, I love this car. My buddy has a KIII and we put the extra front 20deg setup from my 777 (I use the 22deg) in his car and it handles like.. well really similar to my 777. From what I have noticed the biggest difference in the front ends between the KIII and 777 is that the front spindle carrier has 3 holes allowing a longer upper front camber rod that reduces bump steer and keeps the front tires flatter with the ground during cornering. A lot of KIII owners that want more steering are running the 777 20deg front carriers with the camber rod in the outer of the 3 holes with the "A" block. For most people that makes for a very precise handling car. If for some reason you need more steering than that, run a 3 deg anti squat block in the rear. If you have reasonable diff fluids that setup in a KIII does not push at all.

Ok, what do ya'll think of the hyper .21 motor? My buddy just got a buggy and that is what was in it. The piston at the corners of the piston skirt (crankshaft relief) is broken on each side. Is this a trait of this motor? I see nothing that could have done this...The motor was this way when he recieved it.

He ordered a new piston and sleeve. No biggie it was cheap on ebay. But I just wanted opinions b/c he wants to ebay together a whole nother motor. I just don't want him to waste his time if the motor isn't all that, and you can get an os .21rg for $110.

jbrow, the hyper .21 isn't a "bad" engine, but personally i'd go with the O.S. RG before id' put money into a hyper .21....Now if the Hyper .21 was in good shape, i'd say have at it......But it just isn't good enough to go crazy over and may cost more in the long run.......imo, Jim

That's the way i feel about it. But he wants to build a motor from ebay buys b/c you can do it for pretty cheap. Personally I say get an os and be done with it. Thanks for the info though, I don't know anything about the hyper.
