The MBX5T is a very solid truck. It's one of the best. The new MBX6T is due out within a few weeks. So your gonna find great deals on used 5T's. It would be better than any RTR. Even so, to add an engine/pipe, and radio w/ good servos is probably going to cost you more than $600 Tires alone are $70+ a set
for what it's worth the Losi 8ight-T 1.0 RTR is still one of the best deals around. Good engine, good radio, fair servo's, and a good price. It's going to be hard to beat that deal.
Have you looked at one of these?

Leaves you a little extra cash for a radio or steering servo. They seen to get around the track pretty good also.

well i run a losi eight-t 1.0 and if you like slop and want to change the drivetrain parts after 1 to 2 gallons that a losi is for you
i havnt , driven a hb d8t but myself is looking at the d8t over the winter and from what i heard from other guys on here, that own them they say there pretty good and dont have many problems and they cheap but just as good from what i heard and just as competive.

You think you're gonna get LESS drivetrain wear with a HB??? LMAO I've never seen a stub axle shatter like HB's do. Nor have I seen CV joints wear out as fast as the HB's do. There's no disputing that the HB is a very good truggy, but it is certainly not known for it's durable drivetrain parts.

yea but, they do sell upgraded cvds for the hb and i looked up the price for them there not to expensive.

Sorry, I forgot you moved on to the Loosi Losi. Did they ever fix their servo problem?
