if im not mistaken the mugen mbx6 bulldog body will fit the x2 but you need to change the sideguards using the x2crt guards

can someone please help me. I have ofna 5k diff oil because it was all i could get at my lhs. It seems thicker then my mugen oil. What i want to know is, how many of you use the ofna oil in their diffs and is it any good. Gotta race tomorrow and need to know. please help.

All I use is OFNA oil, and its been great! Its easiest to stick with one brand, because one companies 5000 might not be exactly 5000 compared to another. OFNA oil is usually the easiest to get, at least at my shop.

I ran 5-5-3 for the longest time, but for the last couple weeks I have been running 3-5-1. Not sure which combination I like better yet, still experimenting.

this 5k is awfully thick. It even says diff lock on the bottle. I would say it's at least equal to 7k mugen.

one quick question regarding the optional anti squat plate for the rear.what does anti squat does?

running less anti squat(on the x2 it would be running the 1 instead of 2) allows more pressure to be placed on the rear wheels when accelerating. This limits the buggy from stepping out sideways due to wheel spin

get a bit of the picture.so it means on x2 less anti squat is better?then how many degree is the stock have on it? thanks a lot on the info.

anyway during my last race in my hometown,i have problems with my buggy(seriously loosing traction each time i floor the throttle) .i have my buggy setup with 7-7-3,46T spur Vs 16T bell,1.1 mm springs for clutch.swaybar 2.5 mm fr and 3 mm rear.

any advise on this?really need help to overcome this hehe..will have another race coming up soon.

Hi guys! I'm racing my X2 for 2 years now. But this year, I have so many problem with my rear diff. It's the second pignion and ring gear I broke!! Miss 2 A-main final with this... It looks like a shimming problem. Do you shim at left AND right of de diff or just the side of the Ring gear ?

Also, a little comment about the 2 center drive shaft ( dogbone now). I add 2 X1CR before my X2, and I preffer the "yoke" style drive shaft instead of dogbone shaft on X2. Dogbones are not as tought as yoke drive. Need to be replace offen... What is you idea on this?

Hi i have my buggy for 2 year and no problem i use two shim on the right and left i think you problem is the Differential Bulkhead and the new dogbone in the jammin i dont like i remplace with Hyper 9 dogbone but i prefer the universal Joint

buy a new diff case!!! also i used 3 on the side with ring gear and none on the other, shim tight. but i replaced diff cases ever 6-8 races.

and on the dog bones, i took rubber o-rings and put them in the out drive cups so that the dog bone isnt loose, lasts alot longer that way.

Thanks guys! I add shimmed my diff and works better now! I finished my A-mains and no loose appar. Also, thanks for the tip about dogbone, tu put O-Ring. I will try it...

I confirm... My diff problem was caused by bad shimming method. I put a new diff, shim it only on the ring side with 3 shims for me, and voila! No more prob.
