wassup? seems like most of the usual cast of characters are confirmed for the 1/12th scale classes (which I think is great since the 1/12th cars are my personal favorite). but there does seem to be relatively few sedan pilots signed up as compared to previous years. just wondering why the little cars are entered en force while there are so few big ones registered. Not complaining, mind you. Just wondering why.

It seems odd to me as well. So many people have begged for rubber classes at the Champs, yet when offered, noone signs up. And of course if you ask anyone who runs rubber, foam sedan is dead.

Perhaps TC is just dead in general.......

C'mon TC racers sign-up and show us what you got!!!!

The issue for me was that I was really hoping on a 17.5 and 13.5 rubber class back when they announced the classes and it was not offered. They added 17.5 like a week ago and now it is too late. Plane tickets are now 400-900 bucks... If the class was in place from the beginning I would be packed and ready to go. Maybe next year I guess.

TC's should only be run on pavement. Running them on carpet has always been retarded, it just took some people a lot longer to figure this out. Pan cars are the only thing that should be run on carpet.

If I had to guess with the rubber guys it was the lack of 17.5 rubber. I know that is why I didn't consider the race. 13.5 too fast for me still. By time it was added I hadn't budgeted for it (or begged my wife enough).

I'll be happy to reserve your seat, and your post-festivities transportation.
