Is it ok to set the camber such that the tires will become a bit cone shape after running?

Do you adjust the ride height by pressing the chassis down and let the chassis rebound, or do you lift the chassis up with the front/rear tires are hanging in air and drop the chassis down?
Hi raceblast,

I got your PM and sent one back to you. Sorry for the delay...

I run in the Midwest Series mainly. I use the Racine, Wi. race track as my home track. Theres really nothing else around here. If your in Indy its worth the drive for you to go to Toledo, OH. They have one of the best tracks here in the Midwest.

Yeah, toledo isn't that far for me, i think it is about a 3 hour drive. But, the quality of that track is amazing.

Jnims,
We will be racing in Portage next season. We have a track set up now (at Super-K) but no driver stand. We have a trailer now & are converting it to a driver stand. Come join us and help get things going!
Drove my Evolva after closing the store yesterday... great fun!!!

Duneland,
That is great. I can't wait to pick up my Evolva and start racing. Is there still any off-road racinggoing on in the area?

Off-road will be comensing soon at Finishline in LaPorte (indoor). I will dig out my 1/8 buggy for the winter season. Our club was kicked out of Woodland park & is looking for a new site for the off-road track. With any luck, we will be racing both on-road and off-road next season. I think we will alternate venues -- off-road one week, on-road the next. This should help get the turn-outs up and give guys who only race one type a chance to try other tracks.
We have started our indoor micro racing in my store. 1/18 on-road and also 1/18 off-road. That is on Sat. nights.

Default Rear Roll Center

Can you change the rear roll center of the evolva ? And if so; is it like the MRX-4 where it has different roll centers like 4.5, 5.5. and 6.5mm ?? Thanks guys.

Roger I think you can place washers under the rear pivotball on top of the rearupright. I believe there's a 3mm washer now maybe you can play with those just as the mrx4 can. Don't know if it can be done like the rearblocks on the mrx4.

The base setup at Rev works well - just make sure your chassy setup is all square (i.e. sway bar/spring tweak, equal length arms etc.). They have been using VHT together with the fast layout emphasizes any tweak, even w/new cars. Good luck.
