I suspect some engines are manufactured to have superior performance only for one race. Team racers use new engine for every heat.

For normal club race, just buy an engine that you can easily find replacement parts at the track that you race on or LHS. You may have an exotic and really fast engine. However, you may sit out for races if something breaks in the engine and you cannot get parts right away.

Raceblast, I'm with you on that one. After my Rody Mod RB hit the fan (only 4 races from break-in), I'm still waiting for the parts (2 wks so far). Luckly I still had my faithfully fast Sirio ... I kinda feel like I cheated on her for a quick fling.

Have you ever seen junk winning the worlds

I'll bet you find it junk because you get beaten by Sirio powerd cars all the time

Have fun
i have two siro motor which are the AAC and ABC P/S, nothing impressive me. i agree the price are cheap but the performance is far below the nova rossi. I talked to a kyosho team driver, the sirio they use are not the one we can get from the market place, i saw his motor is pretty fast in the track but absolutely not the generic siro......

Default Optional Springs

Can somebody direct me where can i get those optional springs for the evolva. I'm talking about those blue, yellow, green, pink and etc. Not the standard silver/gold/bronze. Tried Tower Hobbies already. Unfortunately, they do not have it.. It's wierd coz i so sure they had it on their website a couple of weeks ago..

Thanks in advance.

REX 321 vs Novarossi 421P?

What is the difference betwween these 2 engines in terms of power and performance andprice ? Which one faster? Are they suppose to be the same (just different name ? Rex, Novarossi)

Thanks.

What about RX21R1WC ? Which one is better in overall performance and latest design 321P vs RX21R1WC?
I just checked Novarossi web site and found that Novarossi, Rex and Top are making 321P. Are they exactly same but just different name?

About the same .. the new RX21R1WC also fast ....

I believe 321P is 8 port ... WC is 7port but it's the same .. just 321P divide intake port to 2 ...So 321P become 8 ports .If i'm not wrong.

321P should be better idea ...Coz it is newer

Compare to MAX or JP, the RX21R1WC has no competition to those modify engine. I had the 21WC but I have less desirable after I get the MAX since it is really fast. If you are looking for stock motor, i would suggest you to try the new one 321P. I am not so keen with the 21WC.........

Ok and looks like 321P has been set in my mind.
I checked Novarossi web site but saw that 321P made in 3 different product line (Novarossi, REX, TOP). Are they all the same in price and performance? Or Novarossi better? In US here. The only available i found is REX.

I've been running the REX version for the last few months and have not had any trouble with them and they have been making very good power. You can call Ace Hobbies or Nitrohouse, they should both have them.

i think they are thesame but if you want a good parts and service support the rex is really good ... the rex is the higher version of the 321p as to what i hear... but like what said its easier to own the Rex because of the support you get from the dealer ... i own a top version but im having a hard time getting parts for it... good luck
