Hopefully some new chassis plates land in Aus soon for us to try (Exotek)
Yes sir!

New batch EXP's are in stock and a bunch shipped to AUS already, Thanks!

Depends on the size of the track and how flowing it is.

small track (60'x40') - 4.2 - 4.4ish
med track (100'x50') - 4.0 - 4.2ish
large track >(130'x 60') - 3.7 - 4ish

Timing cranked on the motor.

I am looking for a 17.5 outdoor setup using the exotek chassis. I assume the places I will be racing will be low to medium traction, but this is my first time racing outdoors so not 100% on that. I know they are not big turnout/events, so I don't think there is enough to lay down that much of a groove...

Also if anyone has a VTA setup with the same chassis that would be great to.

EJ's chassis 93.5 wide and 2.5 thick. It's for $80 and only sold at Top Racing USA. I don't know how many he has left.

You have to space the hook up from the base piece use at least 2mm shims so you can wrap the tape around the hook.

As mentioned I believe it is available via TOP USA only. Not sure why it was not made public.

That's definitely geared to high, try 4.0 and turn the timing up on the motor. Make sure you run a fan.

I switch between timing and no-timing 17.5 and have found a 96 (64pitch) spur gear works well.

It's not new, it was posted back before snowbirds in January, there is just a new batch.

I put te chassis on my car along with hanulecs setup from the 'c' with a few changes, and it is the first time I've driven a spool car that's not twitchy. I had been running a front gear diff for the last 6 months for it's consistency, but it wasn't on pace outdoors.

Luppi, here you go:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/9254207-post7744.html

There's no part number since it's EJ's own design. Need to call or email TOP Racing USA.
