What lipos do u use on the rubber 6 cell chassis? Any hardcase works? I don't have the lipo main chassis.

I'm using Fantom 5200 50C right now, have use SMC 5200....no issues with fit. Fantoms are lighter and easier to balance the car at 1400.

I use different kind of lipo's
GM,Nosram/LRP,Robitronic,Bionic and Zippy flightmax between 4000MAH and 5300MAH.
All fit without any problems.
Maybe you have to adjust the weightbar a little but that is it.
And no i don't have the lipo chassis.

regards Roy

I have a few ThunderPower 5000mAh 40C batteries and they have a couple millimeters clearance below the edge of the top deck. I had an old TP 5400 25C "sport race" battery that has now been retired. That one, before it puffed up, would just touch the top deck. It fit, but might have affected flex and possibly caused some chassis tweaking. I've had much less tweaking since I retired that one, but that could be just because my driving has improved quite a bit and I don't have nearly as many collisions now.

I only have the 6 cell chassis right now.

Thunder power 5200 50C work great. Fantom 5200 50C, and Fantom 5300 65C all fit great.

Default tarmac setup

I like the gear diff a lot. I have been running dual gear diffs on carpet(marcos J) and running well as a club racer. Does anyone have (Marcos J) have a tarmac setup with dual gear diffs? If running a gear diff can you recommend a oil weight and make.

Second question.. what is the difference between v1 and v2 shocks? can v1 be converted to v2?

Car was awesome today at the "East Coast Halloween Bash" at DRCW. TQ'ed all three rounds of 17.5 with some good competition. One more round tomorrow and the mains. TOP three drivers in 17.5 are running the Photon.
Tony Rumple
Mark Unrath
Tim Kausler

I sat out for MOD this weekend, but Mark Unrath is laying it down pretty well, currently qualified third and looking to move.

Running dual gear diffs with 100k front/10k rear for the last asphalt race of our season.
