Default Traxxas Slash Setup

I'm a newbie! What would be the best setup for this truck? I want something that would have a decent run time (at least 20 min), but not be a slouch on the streets!!! Help!!!

What size motor do you have? Is it the stock brushed motor? Also, are you wanting a basis for a setup such as shock angles, toe, camber, and tires?

It is straight outta the box. It is completely stock, with a brushed motor....

Just get the highest 6cell MaH battery you can find on the market, your average run time will only be around 8-12 minutes with the slash, if that!
I wouldn't full with your stock setup if your not going to be on the race track

Prob a stupid question....but I'm on YOUTUBE and I am watching the Slash go like 60, and wheelie all over the place. In order to do that, what would I have to do to the stock truck, and what would the run times be???

you would have to replace your stock speed control and motor and get a brushless esc and motor.

also go with a lipo battery... depending on 2 or 3 cell is how fast you want to go.. 2 cell is 7.4 v and 3 cell is 11.1 v... Most of the 60 or 70 mph slashes you see in youtube are running 3cell or higher... and you can expect run times depending on how thottle happy you are and what capacity of battery you run... the higher the capacity the longer the run time..
