Default SC State Touring Car Championship

Sat. Dec. 6th along with the oval program, the touring cars at Carolina RC Speedway will be hosting the SC State Touring Car Championships.

Along with the regular 6-cell Spec racers we are offering Nitro TC, and 19T TC. All heats will be 5 minutes, all electric mains will be 5 miutes, 15 minute A-main for nitro.

This will be a $20 entry fee for touring that day, same as it was for the oval state race. All oval classes will be at their regular race fee.

Also for those with loads of creative talent, Show-n-Shine Concourse competition. We'll be looking for details, not just decals so let's see who's got some ideas for getting their car picked as #1 by the judges.

The touring car track is 100ft x 75ft with 12-16ft wide lanes. Spec class laptimes are in the low 12 second range turning 23-25 laps in 5 minutes. Surface is smooth grain asphalt. AMBrc system and JLap race software. Personal transponders can be used. Handouts transponders are available for those who don't have their own.
