Default Body position, Lola R09 on Mugen MRX-4X?

I admit I never felt confortable how to position the body lengthwise on my 1/8 on-road car. Now I am about to try the new Blitz Lola R09 and again I have difficulties understand where to position the body. Usually on my Mugen MRX-4X I have measured the distance from the front bumper to the inside of the front of the body and it use to be about 10-12 mm (with Mugen bodies and Exceed Cytec bodies). However I never understood if that is about right or what. And now with the new Lola R09 I get confused when looking at the front wheel markings on the body. If they line up with the wheels the measurment as mentioned will be about 17-18 mm. I hate this messing with bodys, once the holes are drilled there is now way back!
Can anybody explain the reasoning behind how to position the body and what position I should aim for, in particular the Lola R09?
/Thanks

I don't exactly know where to mount the body however i do know the theory behind it. The farther forward you mount the body the more aggresive the body will turn in, however it won't be as stable. The farther back you mount the body the less aggresive the car will turn in but it will be stable.

Try about 10 or 11 mm between the front bumper and the lip of the body.

Don't forget that with the stock Mugen body posts you can twist them 180 degrees and get a 3mm adjustment
