Ive never heard of it before but it looks cool in the pic I found of it on ebay.

I would be worried about buying something that may be difficult to get replacement parts for.

Agreed! Try to go to the track And see what they are running. Talk to every body that has a car you like and then get out ther and have fun.

it comes with a catalouge that you can get the parts from but a hobby shop i spoke to said that most 1/16th scale parts will fit on it

Is Amax a reliable brand in Scotland? Ive never heard of them in the USA.

am really not sure. they do a lot of on road cars which are really good but i dont know bout off road
