Exclamation losi 8t 2.0 rear bearings

how much run time can you get out of the rear hub bearings when you machine the rear hub for the 8-16-5 bearings?

No one can answer this question with out alot more questions being asked...what kind of track do you run on ....smooth..rough....big jumps...little jumps....are you a A-main guy or a D-main guy....are you an aggressive driver or do you sit back and coast....all these factor's can have adverse effects of how long your bearings will last.

I run on a super rutted out track with some BIG jumps. I used to go through 1 of these bearings every day.
I have come up with a fix for this problem but in order to do it you need to know someone with a laith / mill
what you do is boar the hole out so that it will fit a 8x16x5 bearing instead.
here are some pics of what ive done

Thumbs up losi 8t 2.0 rear bearings

i am an A main driver and i run indoor right now, but it is big jumps but not blown out. i ran 10 weekends on the same dirt and 2 different layouts with the 1.0 with no problems i ran the buggy bail out at hcrc(home track) last sat on the 7th and was cool. did the same normal maint. through the week and ran this weekend which equals 2 days and not even a gallon of fuel and destroyed outer bearings inners are locked up and chewed up one of the hexs and grooved the other. i like what tix said and am machining my hubs tomarrow and possably front also. the truck does have crazy traction and the bearings just cant handle the side load at all.
