I googled it and found their homepage and ordered it direct. I think 2 cans shipped was just a little less than $24.

Maxima Racing Oils or SC1 ought to get you there.

I'm surprised Porkchop hasn't come on and told you to put it in the dishwasher yet!

Has anyone used PAM yet? We used in on our real racecar under the rear wheel tubs so the rubber from the burnout wouldnt stick. Cheap, easy, and heat resistant!

When it's extra dirty or muddy I like to soak it in a very salty brine for several days, then take it out and let it air dry. Then I spray it down with aerosol adhesive and store it under the downspout on the corner of my garage.

Denatured alcohol, or just run it quick in the snow and let it dry off overnight.

I have a small parts cleaner tub and the hose has a brush on the end of it. Kinda Like this one but mine is a little longer.

I Just got it and it had kerosene already in it. The kerosene worked ok but it was not worth the smell. I filled it with WD40 and it works great. Cut my clean up time in half.
Someone mentioned earlier to use full strength simple green. I did that on a blue aluminum chassis and it took the blue off

If you use brake cleaner...make sure its non chlorinated formula. I normally use diluted Simple Green for all my cleaning needs in the garage and on my R/C cars. Stuff works miracles on dirt and grease. Just make sure you dilute it with water because if you use it straight it will remove anodizing.

I'm just starting nitro racing this year so I havent ever really cleaned a rig. What do you guys think would be a good beginner way of doing it? I was thinking just to take my engine and radio tray out and hose it quickyly. Then towel dry and spray all hinges and bearings with a shot of Wd40. Will this work? Also will the screws on my kit rust because of this?

As long as you follow up with WD40, it should be fine.
(WD40 = Water Displacement [formula] 40)
