Default motor

I got a e-mail from Jim @ Fusion and he said they will be on his next order so next month (March) I think this motor once modified will give great power and great fuel mileage.

Does it have a turboed crank and R7 rod or are the internals standard 3 port stuff? Any idea on price?

Its the P5XS bottom end & carb with a N21B 2001BF P/S/R set fitted basically. Same as what Houston said earlier. Standard or Turbo can be chosen. Funny how I was try to get the 3 port parts to build this same engine a year ago. Now Novarossi finally decides to get back to build 3 port buggy engines like they used to.

I've had a Nova P3XS now for over a week and done a meeting with it, I ended up getting it as a back up mill to my Plus 4 which is still yet to arrive. So far I can honestly say that the engine is not overly special, but it depends on what you want. Its not a powerhouse by any means, but its one of the smoothest and most economical engines I've ever owned. It has great useable power throughout, and I got 10 minutes to a tank of gas in a buggy, on its first meeting on a big track running on rich settings. I would have to say that its basically a N21B in terms of power, but with perhaps an even smoother powerband but better on fuel thanks to the more efficient P5 style crank.

So far pipes that seem to be working great are the 053 and 086, with the 086 having a pinch more top speed but less fuel economy, where as the 053 has slightly better bottom/mid range power and better fuel economy.

Overall I'd say that this engine is great for anyone wanting a smooth, economical, reliable motor. Although being honest I think that you may aswell save yourself some $$$ and just get the N21B, it'll do everything the P3XS will but perhaps with a little less runtime to a tank of gas.
