Yep, I just searched for part number 87596 and that got me where I needed to go. For some reason, they don't show up when you select "Replacement and Optional Parts" from the Datsun 510 screen on Tower.

Manny> You are correct sir, the rotors are metal and the calipers are plastic. I was glad to see the calipers are not a cheap red plastic. They are painted red with a nice coat of paint so they a little more realistic. I had planned to paint them red, because I hate the look of bare plastic on an RC, but they didn't need anything done to them at all.

has anyone checked out HPI lately?!?!?!?!?

the spring kits are in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also jut found that Stormer might be THE place to get parts - I just did a search and they got 185 hits for 'cup racer', granted 1 is the Beetle Cup Racer...but 184 items for the actual CUP RACER

wheels, hop-ups, replacement stock parts - much better selection then Tower...now granted some stuff is 'on order' but still

thank you, Mr. Bob Stormer

Are you using HPI wheels or did you get some from ABC? Did you paint them? I like the silver better than the way I see them in the kits.

Has any one tried mounting the Tamiya Mini cooper (modern) body on the cup racer yet. My son is a mini cooper fan and I was thinking of getting a cup racer for him.

I have the older Tamiya Mini Cooper rims on mine. No problems on fitting.
